Sponsored Programs Office
The Sponsored Programs Office is dedicated to assisting faculty and staff with pre-award and early-stage post-award activities for externally funded research, scholarship and student success programs. SPO staff work closely with sponsoring agencies, Principal Investigators (PIs), and the University Corporation at Monterey Bay to provide professional and timely assistance and direction.
Sponsored Programs Office staff are also the administrative arm and operational support for the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (CPHS), for the Faculty Incentive Grants (FIG) and CSU Student Research Competition (SRC).

As part of the National Science Foundation's (NSF) continuing commitment to enhance the diversity of the science and engineering workforce and to broaden participation and achievement of underrepresented groups, NSF is pleased to announce that it will be conducting a series of webcasts in November 2014 for faculty and research administrators from minority serving institutions.
Day one will provide an overview of the Foundation, its mission, priorities, budget, and key information about the proposal preparation and merit review processes.
