2013 Faculty Incentive Grants

Submission deadline is March 26 and all applicants must meet with Sponsored Programs staff for assistance at least one week prior to proposal submission!

The Faculty Incentive Grants (FIG) program was established to assist pre-tenured Assistant Professors and pre-tenured Associate Professors with initiating research, scholarly, and creative activities that have the potential to become continuing programs supported by extramural funds. Funding is provided by the return of indirect costs from externally funded projects to the University Corporation at Monterey Bay and the Provost. This year a total of $50,000 is available for awards.
